SYNOPSIS
The Guests are mentally ill people housed in a mental health center in Sardinia. In the documentary, the memory of a past life, the anxieties that turn into silences, the dreams. The days are immersed in a slow and dilated time in which there seems to be time only to be reborn.
Simonetta Columbu
Simonetta Columbu was born in Cagliari in August 1993. After graduating from the Liceo Classico, she moved first to London and then Rome where she studied acting at the Duse International for four years. She made her big debut with Io sono tempesta by Daniele Luchetti; she plays with a co-protagonist role alongside Marco Giallini and Elio Germano. She is then the protagonist in the series Che Dio ci Aiuti 5 and 6. After these experiences she developed the passion for journalism, analogic photos and documentaries, so she decided to self-produce her first documentary: The Guests.
